What to Bring

You should arrive dressed according to the weather, keeping in mind that while you won't ever be submerged in the water, you will get wet. Therefore dressing in layers is always best.

We will be providing all necessary kayaking equipment.
• Shoes you don't mind getting wet
• Shorts or Pants with Quick-drying material
• Rain or Wind jacket
• Extra layer
• A change of warm dry clothes
• Personal Drinking Water
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen & Headwear
• Camera

As with all water based activities, cotton clothing and jeans are not recommended because they do not dry quickly, nor do they keep you warm when wet. Please arrive dressed appropriately for the weather, it is usually colder in Yellowstone than you are expecting.

Weather in Yellowstone

The weather in Yellowstone can vary greatly, and change quickly. Typically the days are sunny with temps in the upper 60's to low 80's, however temperatures drop quickly at sunset, and it does get cold at night and early morning. Afternoon showers and passing thunderstorms are always possible in the mountains.

We plan to go in the rain or sunshine. We will provide all the necessary kayaking equipment. It is customary to tip your guide 10% in recognition of a job well done.
